CNC Machining

Function-critical components for demanding applications, from 10 to 6,000 mm. We engineer robust, efficient manufacturing processes that deliver accuracy, repeatability, and documentation—without compromising on geometry or tolerances.

Three key advantages

From drawing to the right process

We translate your drawing requirements into a practical process: fixture design, tooling and operation sequencing, CAM programming in Mastercam, and simulation for collision control. The aim is high removal rates without deforming the part.

Precision under control

Accuracy is secured via planned measurement points and clear protocols, correct stock allowances, and control of heat, vibration, and deflection. You get consistent surface, form, and dimensions—with repeatability across batches.

An integrated flow that reduces rework

Machining sits inside a broader industrial ecosystem—close to welding and assembly. Manufacturing engineers and operators collaborate to handle weld shrinkage and ensure sufficient stock for final dimensions, cutting lead time and error risk.

CNC machining that builds your industrial advantage

Machining is a cornerstone of industrial value—and often a potential bottleneck. UFAB treats machining as an integrated node in the Industrial Ecosystem: sourcing, welding, machining, inspection, and assembly are linked into a flow that works in practice. With a modern machine park and process know-how, we handle roughing and finishing of complex parts in stainless steel, aluminum, and other stainless alloys—from prototypes to series.

Our capabilities cover everything from small components to large structures: bed milling and horizontal boring, and 5-axis machining when geometry and accessibility demand it. Processes are designed for robustness and efficiency, with the right tools, setup and workflow, ensuring quality is maintained without compromising tolerances.

With measurement and documentation built into the flow, quality is verifiable. A cohesive approach means fewer handoffs, shorter feedback loops, and higher FPY—turning drawing requirements into stable series production.

Our Machining Methods

Milling

We mill machine components with both standard and freeform geometries at high precision. You get tight tolerances and consistent surface finish across aluminium, steels, and superalloys—from one-offs to series.

Turning

We turn shafts, rings and bushings with high roundness and low runout. With live tooling and a Y-axis, we add milled features in the same setup to cut lead time and cost.

Horizontal Boring

We enlarge and finish bores and mating faces in medium-to-large components. Long-reach tooling and probing keep position, straightness and flatness over distance.

Bed Milling

For long or heavy workpieces, bed-type milling provides the rigidity and travels required. You get straightness, parallelism and flatness in frames, bases and welded structures.
