Industrialization
From development to series production—without teething issues. Industrialization makes the flow predictable, quality-assured, and scalable from the first order

Three key advantages
Fast, secure production start
We verify the chain with real flows and a FAI (First Article Inspection) on the first order. For machines/systems this means final functional testing; for components dimensional inspection—issues are caught and resolved before series start, making time-to-market shorter and more predictable.
Cost and quality—controlled from the outset
We avoid late changes and scrap by locking methods, control plans, and production structures ahead of ramp-up. The result is quality-assured production at lower total cost—without compromising function or delivery precision.
Scalability with clear governance
Rather than generic “modularization,” we use standardized building blocks, product configuration, and variant control. This lets you move from prototype to series with capacity, capability, and planning under control.
Build it right from the start – industrialization as a business decision

The hardest phase in a new product launch is often the bridge between development and industrial reality. Bottlenecks, delays, and cost drivers emerge when multiple parties must make complex systems work together. UFAB applies a holistic approach with Industrial Ecosystems™—connecting sourcing, logistics, machining, welding, assembly, and planning into a cohesive flow that works in practice and can be scaled profitably.
When the product is relatively finalized we initiates the industrialization process, i.e. how it’s produced: methods, work instructions, gauges/inspection points, testing, and data flows. The initial order runs as FAI—during that order we lock the process and close open items across the ecosystem. This is where teething issues are identified, documented, and eliminated before you ramp.
For machines and mechanical systems, verification means final functional testing; for components it means dimensional measurement against drawings and tolerance stacks. That stabilizes both quality and delivery performance from day one—and keeps the subsequent ramp predictable.
Through Monitor ERP and established methods we build production structures (P-BoM), tie planning to material flows, and run capacity and capability calculations reflecting shop-floor reality. Risk, HSE, and chemicals are addressed up front to avoid late blockers. The outcome: shorter lead times, lower inventory, stable quality—and a flow that scales with the business.
This is what we call Industrial Performance™.
